Here at Walnut Ridge, we are seeking to be a Flourishing Family that is Glorifying God, by Abiding in the Love of Christ, Nourishing one another with the Word, and Bearing Good Fruit in the world.
With different jobs, different ages, different races, and different stories, we all come together to form a family. Everything we do here is centered on making Jesus known. Jesus’ great commission for His church was to go and make disciples (followers). In taking on this task, we want people to know Jesus personally and to grow in their faith! We want our community to see Jesus in action as we reach out in love and share the message of hope through faith in Jesus as our Savior! We want our city of Waterloo to be touched with the love of Jesus that transforms lives!
That message is why we gather on Sundays, and that is why we enjoy being together throughout the week. It is family time, where we enjoy worshiping God! So, no matter how you are dressed, what you know about the church, or what you think about God, we hope you will join us! We want to be a friend to you, listen to you, love you, serve you, and do life with you! We hope you will allow us the opportunity to show you the love of God through His son, Jesus!
